Feds review 287 dangers

U.S. Rep. Joe Barton (R-Ennis/Arlington) held a meeting Tuesday with local and state leaders that led to an agreement by the Texas Department of Transportation to accelerate actions intended to improve safety along a critical stretch of US 287 in Ennis.

Barton set up the session after hearing from constituents concerned over a number of area accidents, including one that recently took the life of Subrina Knight.
