Firm sets timeline in super search

Ennis ISD could have a new superintendent as early as Jan. 6, 2014, according to the district’s search firm. Mike Smith, CEO and President of Education Solutions and Services, told the Ennis ISD Board of Trustees that his firm has already received applications from interested candidates.

“We’ve probably received in the neighborhood of a dozen already, and probably had at least that many more inquiries,” Smith said. “It’s really going well.” He added that his firm had not received any applications from within the district.
