The minds behind Give a Kid a Chance are working with Ennis ISD to make sure no kids go hungry, even at home.
Marty Nelson of Give a Kid a Chance said the “Lion Cubs” pilot program will hopefully begin sometime this winter, providing children in EISD schools who show signs of chronic hunger a backpack full of food for the weekend.
