Local school districts including Palmer ISD and Ennis ISD have started their summer meals programs, bringing a needed service to their communities.
While Ennis has offered the program in the past, Palmer ISD is offering it for the firs time this year. Palmer’s program runs until July 23, providing free meals to children aged 18 years and below. Adults can eat with their children for $3 per meal.
