Freeze settling

Conditions in Ennis were not yet too treacherous for workers to make their way around town this morning, but temperatures are forecast to dip into the teens and the high Saturday is not expected to crack 30 degrees.

City Manager Steve Howerton said the biggest concerns are ice accumulation on trees and possible power outages, but with cold temperatures persisting, roadway icing could become a considerable threat into the weekend.
