It’s down to the wire for fundraising to support Give a Kid a Chance’s back to school outreach event, but the director has pledged they will “make it work” one way or another.
Even if GAKAC can’t make up the last few thousand dollars to hit their $35,000 mark to serve 1,000 students with school year necessities Aug. 4, Marty Nelson is pleased with what has already been done.
