Grand jury files theft indictment

Ennisite Johnny Steel has been indicted for the second time this year on charges of theft from Walmart, this time for a few packages of meat and some golf balls.
Steel, 50, waived arraignment and faces his next pretrial hearing in January for a crime allegedly committed in June at the store. The state filed charges against him in September for that incident.
