Head shaving catching on in cancer fight

Roughly a year after shaving his head in the name of cancer research, local student Alex Fry is at it again. But this time, he’s bringing a few friends along.
Fry is planning once again to raise money for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a charity supporting research into childhood cancer and cancer patients. This time, however, he will be joined by 11 other students who will shave their heads in solidarity with cancer patients — including one girl.
