Inmate faces arson charge

A woman arrested for alleged check fraud on Monday is facing additional charges after reports from police that she set her jail cell mattress on fire.
Lt. Ron Roark of the Ennis Police Department said officers arrested 28-year-old Veronica Leaks shortly before 5 p.m. Monday pending charges of forgery of a financial instrument.
