Interim EISD head coming

The Ennis ISD Board of Trustees has plans to name the district’s interim superintendent at their scheduled Aug. 13 meeting, according to Board President Bramlet Beard.

Day-to-day operations of the district fell to the three assistant superintendents after outgoing Superintendent Barbara Qualls and the board reached an accord on a voluntary separation agreement, ending the former superintendent’s four-year tenure with the district.
