Investigation precedes sentencing

A pre-sentence investigation into the conditions of Lavail Miller’s probation has delayed formal sentencing in her case.
The 41-year-old Desoto woman was found guilty late last month of helping her late boyfriend sexually assault another woman more than eight years ago, and the jury assessed a sentence of 10 years of supervised probation.
