Isaac causes gas prices to surge

Gas prices in Ennis jumped significantly as Isaac bore down on Louisiana this week, reflecting a state and national surge brought on by reduced refining capacity under storm conditions.
AAA reported at least a 9-cent surge in the statewide average price, hitting $3.64 per gallon Wednesday.
