JTEKT’s progress fuels new tax break

JTEKT has committed to a $24.5-million expansion project at the local facility, as well as 25 new jobs that the city believes will grow into much more in the long term.
That growth plan has afforded the company the Ennis City Commission’s consideration on a third tax abatement. JTEKT’s history with successful management of two prior abatements doesn’t hurt.
