Kachina Prairie flourishing

Local botanists and conservation experts said Friday that February’s controlled burn of the Kachina Prairie has been a resounding success.

Members of the Indian Trail Master Naturalists took city officials on a tour of the Kachina Prairie on Friday morning to show how February’s burn cleared the way for the prairie’s natural flora to return in force.
