Lady Lions strike back
Megan Hickman (pictured) finished with more hits (2) than Hallsville's entire team (1) Friday, as the Lady Lions scored the winning run in their last at bat of a 3-2 thriller in Hallsville. Freshman pitcher Taylor Maliska was brilliant in throwing a one-hitter. The deciding game of the series will be played on Saturday night at 7 p.m. at North Forney High School.

With the season on the line Friday night in front of a huge Hallsville Ladycat home crowd, Lady Lion softball dug deep and came up with a sensational postseason victory.
