Ladies strike quickly for sweep

Although the final margin wasn’t quite as impressive as Friday’s playoff opener, Lady Lion softball was more dominant in Saturday’s clinching victory over the Bryan Rudder Rangers.

Ennis (27-10) won 9-0 on Friday, but led just 3-0 through five innings. On Saturday, the Lady Lions jumped out to a 7-0 lead through three in Bryan on their way to a 7-2 win for the bi-district sweep. Ennis finished with more hits (8-2) and each team committed three errors.
