Lions finish fourth in Ennis tourney

The Ennis Lions (5-8-2, 0-1) concluded the Ennis Baseball Booster Club Classic tournament on Saturday with a fourth place finish after falling 7-5 to Sulphur Springs.

The Lions went 1-3 during the tournament and only lost by a margin of one and two runs during the three losses.

“I’ve got to find a way to win those close games,” Lion head coach Kevin Kalinec said.
