The Ennis Lions (7-11-2, 2-4) shut down the Lancaster Tigers in three innings of play on Tuesday with a 26-0 victory to keep the Tigers winless in district.

“We did what we had to do. We put them away early and took the wind out of their sails,” said Lion head coach Kevin Kalinec. “There’s been times when we’ve played a team like this and played down to the level of their competition; we didn’t do that tonight. We came out and did what we were supposed to do.”
