The Ennis Lions (6-9-2, 1-2) struggled to put an offensive game together on Friday as the Red Oak Hawks (8-10, 2-1) scored the only two runs of the game in the bottom of the fifth inning to defeat the Lions 2-0.

“Bottom line, we didn’t execute when we had runners on base. We didn’t do the right things to move them in the scoring position,” Lion head coach Kevin Kalinec said.
