Little Firefighters swing to impressive victory

Emma Rios hit a home run and made a lot of defensive plays to propel the Little Firefighters to a big win on Monday.

While the Ennis Pediatrics team made some excellent plays on Monday night, Little Ennis Firefighters T-ball never slowed down to seize a 20-11 win.
The Firefighters (EFF) reached the five-run limit every time they came up to bat. Ennis Pediatrics (EP) scored four in the first inning, but was unable to match that the rest of the way due to some quality EFF defense.

wow….they said scores will not be kept for T-ball and its all about the fundamentals, but the VP of softball put her team in the paper for a victory…..NO SURPRISE….cant’ say she wasn’t aware..you have to ask permission to print pics of her kid…typical Ennis folks
REALLY?!?! Let’s make the rules, teach the kids the rules, expect everyone to abide by the rules, then not follow them….WOW what an excellent example for the girls!!!!
If we even asked the score keeper what the score was, we were ALWAYS told the score was NOT being kept and it didn’t matter for Tball……when did this “rule” change?
