Local shares her royal wedding memories


The recent royal wedding brought back memories from local resident Sandra Wakefield.

Watching last month’s royal wedding called up a flood of memories for Sandra Wakefield.

The Ennis Arts Commission and Literary Guild member is a seasoned performer and singer, and she has a royal wedding story of her own.

In 1981, as the world watched Prince Charles, Prince of Wales marry Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales, better known as Princess Diana, Wakefield had a front-row seat as part of the choir.
