A group of Ellis County teachers met with State Rep. Jim Pitts and State Sen. Brian Birdwell on Feb. 10 in Austin to discuss the state’s plans for education.
Gina Godding, an elementary teacher with Palmer ISD, met with both lawmakers along with 13 other Ellis County educators to talk about the Teachers Retirement Fund as well as standardized testing, school vouchers and more.
