Locally produced film sought for posterity

The stepson of a former local filmmaker is seeking help locating a copy of a locally-produced film from the 1960s.

Jim Ponder, the stepson of filmmaker and former local business owner Mel Barker, said he’s enlisting the help of the public to track down a local copy of The Kidnapper’s Foil, a film made here in town during that time with an all-Ennis cast.
