Masked robber robs local store at knifepoint

Ennis police investigators are still searching for answers after an armed robbery Wednesday night in the 500 block of S. Kaufman Street.
Lt. Ron Roark of the Ennis Police Department said a male subject wearing a “Halloween mask” entered the El Pobre Jacalito at approximately 8:16 p.m. wielding a knife. The subject threatened the store employees, escaping with an undisclosed amount of cash.
