Matous Electric surges into city title series


Colton Daniell struck out four batters in two innings of scoreless relief, but the Matous Electric standout also hit a home run and a double.

Matous Electric (ME) came into Wednesday’s senior midget playoff game unbeaten this season, and that didn’t change in a 13-5 victory over GAF-Elk (GE).

ME ended up with more hits (9-1) and fewer errors (3-4). ME had two big offensive innings and it proved to be plenty to get the maroon team to next week’s city championship.
