Mayor brings meals, warmth

Mayor Russell Thomas met with Meals on Wheels Executive Director Vinsen Faris and TXU Community Relations representative Shawn Parker to help hand out meals to clients on Tuesday morning.
Thomas joined several other Ellis County elected officials as part of Mayors for Meals, an annual event held during MOW’s March for Meals campaign.
Thomas said in the 10 years since the event’s inception, he has yet to miss a year.
