Meals-on-Wheels starts new effort

Meals-on-Wheels of Johnson and Ellis counties has begun a new fundraising campaign around its 35th anniversary celebration this year.
The 35 Days for 35 Years campaign began Oct. 1 and stretches to Nov. 4, with the goal of raising $35,000 to help support the organization’s ongoing effort to provide food to needy elderly and homebound members of the Ellis and Johnson county communities.
