Midlothian resident enters House race

Retired school psychologist and Midlothian resident James Parker has announced his candidacy for the District 10 seat in the Texas House of Representatives.

He joins Waxahachie Mayor John Wray, Midlothian ISD member Duke Burge and county resident TJ Fabby in formally announcing intent to seek the seat left open as Republican Rep. Jim Pitts announced his retirement from state politics effective this spring.
