The William Gibson epic play The Miracle Worker is opening on the local stage of the Ennis Public Theatre tonight.

The Miracle Worker captures that story — the violence of her frustration, her nearness to life in an institution, her breakthroughs at the hands of teacher Annie Sullivan — in three acts.
