The ongoing saga of construction at the U.S. 287 bypass has a new estimated completion date in March 2013.
After J.C. Evans Construction Holdings declared bankruptcy and pulled up stakes in late 2011, the original December 2012 timetable was out the window. As Anderson Columbia, a Florida-based firm, took over the project and re-evaluated the construction schedule, it became clear that the lost time due to the bankruptcy was going to be at least three months.
