Night manager reports Friday hotel holdup

Police are investigating an alleged armed robbery occurring at the Comfort Suites hotel on Friday night.

Det. Sgt. Mike Hopson of the Ennis Police Department said officers responded to an armed robbery call at approximately 10:38 p.m. at the Comfort Suites located in the 400 block of South Interstate 45. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the night manager, who said an unknown suspect pointed a gun at him and demanded his wallet and the money from the cash register.
