OT victory sends Sign Plex to championship game

Sign Plex (10-5) and American Legion Auxiliary (8-7) faced one another Thursday to determine who would advance to the final round of the 8U Softball League playoffs today and advance to the district championships in July.

After an exciting game with either team having a chance to pull off a victory, the teams were tied 8-8 after the fifth inning. With time having run out, the teams entered overtime play and SP came out on top with an 11-8 win during the second overtime.
