Palmer Police Chief John Zaidle said he and his officers are running into a number of drivers using used police vehicles as a license to speed and drive recklessly.
Zaidle mentioned the problem during the December meeting of the Palmer City Council. During a discussion on the surplus sale of used police vehicles, he said he’s experienced several situations either personally or via radio where used police vehicles end up being involved in speeding or suspicious vehicle calls.
