Palmer releases 2014 football schedule

A year after finishing 4-6, there is plenty of optimism in the air at Palmer High School. The Bulldogs have 17 starters returning and a new head coach in Don Waddle.

The team has also moved up to Class 3A and have five opponents in District 9; Blooming Grove, Maypearl, Corsicana Mildred, Rice and Rio Vista. Three of the games are at home. Should they equal last year’s 3-2 mark at home the team could be playoff bound.
