Pastor no-billed in alleged sex assault

A preacher arrested on May 31 will not stand trial for alleged sexual assault of a child after an Ellis County grand jury said there was insufficient evidence to prosecute.

Mark Allen Green, 41, was arrested after investigators with the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office received reports that Green was in an improper relationship with a minor in the Palmer area.  ECSO Lt. Rick White said the relationship had allegedly transpired for some time.
