PISD talks guns on campus

The Palmer ISD School Board is considering allowing teachers and other school employees to carry concealed handguns on campus, though an official decision has yet to be announced.

Superintendent Kevin Noack said between 60 to 70 members of the community attended a special board meeting called on Sept. 3, many of whom overwhelmingly supported the idea of allowing school employees to carry concealed firearms.
