Plant marks safety milestones

With more than 250 employees, GAF Matierlals Corporation’s Ennis facility took it as a great stride forward when it was able to mark a pair of occupational safety milestones last week.

Local elected officials kicked in to honor the company for its corporate citizenship at the annual GAF Day employee celebration on Thursday, as well. Mayor Russell Thomas and U.S. Rep. Joe Barton took the opportunity to appear and congratulate the company.
