Rain causes lake rebound

Lake Bardwell, which hovered near the 417-foot conservation stage for much of the last several months, has bounced back a foot after rains Tuesday and Wednesday.
The lake’s large watershed is part of the reason the rebound from 417.3 feet on Monday to 418.3 feet by this morning, according to data collected at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers monitoring station at the lake.
