Reader prove enthusiasm
The reading express rolled out of the Ennis Public Library with the end of the Summer Reading Program last week.
Children that participated in the program’s reading challenges and events throughout the summer gathered at the library Thursday for the awards ceremony. Mayor Pro-tem Bob Taylor handed out award certificates to each child who met their individual reading goals.
“We appreciate your support — thank you for allowing your children to attend,” Taylor said.
