Recycling plant coming to Ennis

The Ennis City Commission on Monday night approved a binding economic development agreement with Tellus Technology to build a $30 million to $40 million facility in the Ennis Industrial Park, bringing in a projected 20 to 30 jobs with it.

According to data presented by Economic Development Coordinator Marty Nelson on Monday to the City Commission, the plant would bring in almost $54,000 in ad valorem taxes per year.
