Road projects could begin in July

Citywide road work could begin as early as late July if bidding slated June 26 draws in a contractor to proceed with the project.
City Manager Steve Howerton assured commissioners that with a slightly altered approach to the contract work and better timing for the bid-letting, Ennis stands a strong chance of landing a contractor later this month.
