School logs successful drives

The Jack Lummus Intermediate Student Council capped a year of successful philanthropic efforts with a coat drive for children in need.

Student Council sponsor April Hayes said the group raised about 60 sets of winter clothes, gloves and hats from Dec. 9-13 for other Lummus students in need.
