Sheriff’s office probing area animal killings

The Ellis County Sheriff’s Office is asking the county for assistance with two cases of animal cruelty occurring earlier this week.
ECSO Spokesperson Joann Livingston said the first incident involved a pony shot and killed by an unknown suspect sometime after Sunday.
