Shooter pleads guilty

The man who shot Ennis resident Eric Rasco in March pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.

Dennis Ray Holt, Jr., accepted a plea deal for 25 years of prison time with the Texas Department of Corrections. He received 156 days of credit for time served at Wayne McCollum Detention Center leading up to his plea in 40th Judicial District Court.
