Dalton Snyder loves the game of football, and the senior wasn’t ready to put his playing days in the past.
On Tuesday, Dalton signed his National Letter of Intent to play for the Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) Lions in Waxahachie. The former Ennis linebacker feels good about the decision.
“It means a lot to be continuing my playing career,” Dalton said. “I’m glad to be able to play a lot more, because I didn’t want to quit.”
Snyder almost committed to play for Wittenburg University in Ohio, which obviously would’ve made the next few years drastically different for him.
“I almost decided to go out of state, but I prayed about my decision and SAGU called me and said they’d really love to have me,” he said. “I prayed about that and decided it was the right choice for me.”
