Spotlight On … Allen and Daisy Morris


Daisy and Allen Morris have been mainstays in Ennis since 1974.

Allen and Daisy Morris have been fixtures in the Ennis community for close to 40 years, and the couple spends their time lately as dedicated ambassadors for the Ennis Chamber of Commerce.The couple purchased 51 acres of land in 1970 off of Skrivanek Road to make the move from Dallas to Ennis, but didn’t build there until 1974.

Allen said today their slice of Ennis isn’t nearly as large because they sold some to Daisy’s brother and gave five acres to their oldest son, Allen L. Morris.
