Accomplished craftswoman and Ennis High School junior Kayla McCabe couldn’t believe it when her name was called for the honor of Overall Reserve Grand Champion at the San Angelo Agricultural Mechanics Show.

McCabe, who’d earlier in the day won first in her class for her Adirondack Outdoor Furniture and also added a division championship title, made history with the second-in-show honor among the 324 projects shown.
