Summer meal program expanding

Ennis ISD officials announced Tuesday night that the annual summer meal program offered by the district has expanded to eight total sites.

Diana Freeman, director of federal programs and career and technology education, told the Ennis ISD Board of Trustees that meals for children will now be offered at Silverton Village, the Ennis Tennis Center, Grace Townhomes, and Kaufman Place Apartments in addition to Ennis High School, Crockett Early Childhood Center, Dorie Miller Intermediate and the Boys and Girls Club of Ennis.
