Suspect indicted in cop’s death

The Venus man accused in the death of former Waxahachie Police Department officer Josh Williams has been indicted by an Ellis County grand jury.
Just under 10 weeks after the crash, Dylyn Richards, 24, was indicted for intoxication manslaughter causing the death of a peace officer.
