Tax revenue falls

Ennis has logged a slight decrease in its year-over-year April sales tax payment.
The $241,000 collected in February was down about $8,000 from 2010, representing a decrease of around 3.5 percent. The decrease came during a collection period that was marked by a series of winter storms that kept much of the city indoors.
